Kyra Minton Sedgwick was born in New York City, and is an American actress. She's well known around all over the world, and especially in America, for playing the principal role in the film 'The Closer. Sedgwick's first acting job was on a TV show named 'Another World. The show was on when she was 16 years old. She went on to do smaller roles on TV, but it was the idea that she could be a famous actor that enticed her.
