She shared that over the following ten years Poarch spent most of her time doing chores in the home or at the farm of her family. Bryner and her younger brother Bryner and two older siblings have also been adopted. The family of Poarch relocated to Texas after a move from the Phillipines as she was at the age of 13. The older sisters of her remained at home. In the following years, she served in the United States Navy and was stationed in Japan for several years. Bella stated she was abused by her father towards her and her brother, as well as that she didn't have friends in school.
